Our aerospace business researches, develops, and manufactures mechanical seals used primarily on jet engines of aircrafts and space rockets. We have participated in the nation's rocket project, famed for the H-IIA and H-IIB rockets, from its initial stage of development, and we are known as the only Japanese manufacturer of engine seals for rockets. This experience has brought us greater opportunities around the world, including involvements in overseas space projects.

Seals for aircraft jet engines
Since our development of gearbox seals for jet engines in 1966, we have supplied main shaft seals for aircraft engines as well as rotating axis seals for gearboxes and accessories.
Seals for rocket engines
Our turbo pump seals for rocket engines are used on the first and second stage engines of H-II A/B rockets, forming a sealing system that prevents fluid contact and leaks on axes rotating at high speed and under extreme conditions.
