Our business targeting the automotive and construction machinery industries researches, develops, and manufactures mechanical seals, lip seals, and special valves primarily used in the auxiliary parts of automobiles, and floating seals used on the chassis of construction machinery.
We manufacture automotive/construction machinery products daily for automobile and auxiliary parts manufacturers domestic and worldwide, with the business based at our Okayama Factory (AI & CI Division) and setting production plants worldwide, primarily in Asia and Europe. The Okayama Factory (AI & CI Division) also handles all research, development, and production of special valves (MSIV: main steam isolation valves) for boiling water reactor (BWR) nuclear power plants. Every Japan-made BWR nuclear plant uses our MSIV.

Products for the Automotive Industry
Seals
We began production of our mechanical seals for water pumps and compressors in 1971, and lip seals for compressors in 1987. We have received high acclaim for the quality and performance of these products, which we manufacture with an integrated production system that encompasses every stage from material development to production.
Outline of Mechanical Products
Since the late 1970s, we have been employing our vast know-how cultivated through R&D on our core sealing technology to develop and mass-produce mechatronics and actuator/valve products. These are functional auto parts that continue to develop and innovate.
Products for Nuclear Power Plants
We manufacture large valves used in nuclear power plants and plant facilities. These consist of testable check valves most noted as main steam isolation valves, and free-flow reverse current valves. With our main steam isolation valves used in almost every BWR nuclear power plant in Japan, we deliver technology and services indispensable to the country's nuclear power generation.
Products for Construction Machinery
Numerous construction machinery use our floating seal on their chassis to prevent dirt intrusion. This product was developed as an axis seal for construction machinery and vehicles. Mounted in a way that avoids contact with the axis, it is a simple yet high-performance system of just two components: a dirt resistant O-ring and a floating seat.
