The metal C seal "ECOCS®" is an ideal stationary metal seal, which has the equivalent characteristics to the conventional metal O-ring, yet achieves spring characteristics and low load characteristic which the O-ring doesn't have, and self expanding function which utilizes the pressure brought on the unique C-shape section. ECOCS® reduces load on a flange and extends parts life since the necessary contact surface pressure is obtained by the minimum tightening torque. ECOCS® achieves both economically and ecologically excellent performance.
