The Y8K mechanical seal utilizes PTFE for the entire rotating element which contacts with the fluid, and uses carbon and PTFE including filling material as the face material to provide perfect corrosion resistance. This seal also uses corrosion resistant metal for the element which doesn't contact directly with the fluid. The Y8K is applicable for any kind of chemical fluids including reducing agent, strongly acidic fluid, alkaline fluid, salt, concentrated acidic fluid, etc. |
